New Year, New Resolutions

I always thought that this blog will only be a summary of all my creations and my path as a crafter but it is taking a turn, that I have never expected.

Year 2013 has started with sad news. A sister in Christ and friend passed away just before Christmas and we are having a complete reshuffle and conversations of what is important in our existence as Christians. Some events can touch your heart quite deeply in order to realise what is important in life so we to take a step back.

Until now I have separated my craft/sewing creations and my own personal experiences but I now believe that both are quite connected and maybe the reason why I did not write as much, was because I was not managing to completely separate the one from the other.

As you can see, by the amount of posts I have written in 2012, I rather read other people's blog than write my own.

I really want to Danielle's blog with you once again because she is just amazing! I read this post about writing blogs in her blog "Take Heart" and it made me realise that people don't read blogs for the style neither for the gorgeous pictures but for the the words they write.

Therefore my new year resolution towards Little Hands Dreams blog is to show you my creations along with our personal experiences as well as share God's unconditional love.

A new page has been turned and I hope you will join me to read it as I write it.

God Bless

Home and Kids

On my last post I mentioned that Little Hands Dreams products are now (well, since June) in a shop. How amazing! I always thought that this was one of my dreams and that it would never come true...but thanks to one of the mums I met through a group on Facebook called "Plummy mummies" and the amazing good taste of Maritza, the shop owner, our Little Hands dream became reality!

The shop is called Home and Kids. It's located in South London and to be more precise in Hither Green. Have a look at their cool flier...

Their website http://www.homeandkids.co.uk/ and Blog covers all the trend updates as well as events going on at the shop and fairs they attend.

Look at some of the products Little Hands Dreams has featured at the shop:

Lovely Crocheted Garlands

Dressing up accessories

Moustaches

Masks

And not to forget our first and most desirable product!

The simple Hair-clips

The shop specialises in toys and home accessories for your little ones but also has a variety of other desirable items. If you are able to pay a visit go along and see this lovely french chic shop and I am sure you will not resist the temptation to leave without buying...

See you soon

I have disappeared from the bloggers system!

Yes! Once again I have disappeared from the bloggers system since May and I am please to welcome myself once again. This time no promises I can just say...I will try to stay tuned and update you from time to time of our adventures here at Little Hands Dreams HQ.

First of all we went on holidays... in June, which is a long time ago, then we had the opportunity to place our products in an exciting shop, here in London. How amazing! I can't even believe it myself.

Then we attended a kids festival called Lollibop! Cool, right?

And now we are going to participate in our biggest fair ever.

In between I have been working at my daily job and entertained our little one's dreams. I suppose you are concluding I have been a busy lady (and it's true...) but now as winter approaches we need to finish the year and start planning for the year to come.

I just wanted to update you a little bit. I will be covering all the above events on separate posts, therefore stay tuned.

My first official parcel...

A lovely lady at work, who is expecting a baby girl, asked me to make some bibs. I was so happy! I love expectant mothers that prepare for the new arrival. It's the JOY of life

Therefore I went to the lovely shop Fabrics Galore and got some special prints.
I ordered some velvet ribbon from my lovely sister in law and had printed my gorgeous stickers (to be used as cello tape...how posh!). They have traveled all the way from Colombia!

And here is the 1st parcel:

Isn't it lovely?

And here are the superb bibs for this soon to be born lovely baby girl!

I hope you like them!
See you soon...

Fabric Stash

Some people would say that I have a lot of fabric but.....look at this!

That's not too much. Every time I pass by a fabric shop I feel an urge to buy more... Did you ever experience that urge?

The reason why I post all these pictures is not to show off all my lovely fabrics but as some of my clients don't have access to facebook and therefore they cannot see the pictures I post there, I wanted to show them the variety of fabrics they can choose from when they come to order something special for their bundles of joy. Soon I will be posting about products made with some of these fabrics.

Oh Dear Oh Dear Oh Dear!

The title of this post does not explain very well what this post is about. I would like to show you a picture of my stall from yesterday's craft fair at Shrewsbury house but there is a hiccup!

The quality of the picture is not too good.

Everything started very well yesterday, we left the house on time, after 10 min drive we got to the place and there was not too many cars in the parking lot, just at the front of the Mansion. As I was entering and going to park behind some cars one of those lovely, expensive and more powerful cars than mine, wanted to get out... All was ok, even though a little bit annoyed, until I reversed and hit one of the Manor's columns with my car's bumper.

Don't worry the car is fine... no much damage can be done at 1mile an hour !!!! Still some!

Got to the room that I was allocated and chose a table, and all was fine until I realized I had forgotten my camera at home. Luckily my good friend Magdalena had her camera and lend it to me but me being me, I did not manage to focus the camera properly, therefore the picture is not fantastic. Apologies!

Drum rrrrroooooollll, please!

I plan to put pictures of every individual item on the table therefore await some new posts.
